It’s been a while since the last post. Here is a quick update. I cooked up a standard bitter type beer using light dry malt extract and goldings hops. I added the yeast and waited, and waited, and waited! There was no activity after about 4 days, so I added another packet of yeast. This had no effect whatsoever. I was forced to dump the batch after about 2 weeks. Boo Hoo!
Then with Christmas etc. I haven’t had a chance to cook up another batch yet. Watch this space…
