Hi everyone,

Firstly, thanks for all your comments about issues/problems you have been having with Easybrew. I think my site is starting to appear in search results alongside the actual easybrew.co.uk site, so I am seeing a lot of traffic at the moment!

As you may have read in my posts last year and early this year regarding Easybrew, I placed an order about 15 months ago and only received half of it. About 6 months later I was given a refund for the rest of the order. I was satisfied with this outcome.

I am now getting about 10 comments a day (See here and here) about easybrew through this blog, as well as 4 or 5 private emails a week from people with orders that are “missing in action”, or who have been promised refunds that have never materialised. See the advice below as to what to do.

If you have placed an order which you haven’t received, or are wanting a refund and not getting any joy from Easybrew over the phone/email you should send a request to them in writing (registered/recorded post) for a refund of the money owed to you (Keep a copy for yourself). In this letter set a date/time by which you expect to have heard from them (say 10 – 14 working days). This should get things moving.

Good luck to you all, and let me know how you get on!

Cheers,

Graham

I stupidly ordered something from easybrew in August, I had used them before without any problems. Payment for the goods cleared my bank on the 1 September 2008. On the telephone on the 8 September I was promised that I would receive the goods by the 12 September. Nothing arrived, on Monday 22/09/08, Tuesday 23/09/08 and 24/09/08 tried to contact them by telephone which was either busy or would ring until disconnected because it rings for more than 6 minutes. The website was still active. I wrote via the website and by email on numerous occasions. None of my emails were answered and the only 2 occasions that I managed to obtain a reply to a telephone call I was fobbed off with firstly an excuse that they were awaiting demijohns and that I would receive the order by the 12/09/08. On the second occasion I was told that the order was with the carrier and they would make enquiries (18/09/08) and would phone me back within the hour and I am still waiting for the return call. I managed to get through by email to Annette Fere who runs easybrew and she duly refunded the money only to take it back without authority 4 days later. I am now dealing through my bank for a refund and will possibly also have to deal with my solicitor on the principle of matter!

We to are experiencing similar problems as described by Luba.
We cannot get any response by e-mail or telephone. I have been in contact with trading standards and am in the process of writing to easybrew and setting up a charge back through my bank.
It seems ludicrous that there have been problems with this company for many months but no one appears to have the power to prevent them from trading.
Use this company at your peril.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Like numerous others, I have an outstanding paid for order with easybrew. I did not discover the prblems until nothing was delivered and of course that was a bit late! Whe don’t the credit card companies have a red alert against any requests for paymentand simply decline the transaction?

The topic is quite hot on the Internet right now. What do you pay the most attention to while choosing what to write about?
